How Do I refill a gas/propane AS gun?

So yesterday I bought a Glock 26 off craigslist that runs on propane/gas. He also gave me an adapter and a tank of Colemans propane fuel. Im wondering how to refill the gun. Do I just insert the adapter and let if fill? For how long? Do I need to turn it upside down?
