My daughter & my 5-month old granddaughter are flying with me this weekend to attend a family bridal shower.?

Some of my friends (who I know mean well) are saying the 2-hour flight each way will be too much for the baby. Of course, my daughter consulted with her pediatrician, and he was not overly concerned. What are your thoughts and if you are against it, please explain why. Thanks, in advance, for your comments.
