Everyone at school thinks I'm a stalker...It's so annoying!!?

Well, most people who meet me call me a stalker, besides girls. I'm in 7th grade, by the way. But anyways, why do they do this? I follow my friend around at recess that I've known for two years, because I came to the district new in 5th grade. And they also call me that because they think I stalk them. For example, two days before, they'll mention they have a hockey game tomorrow. Then two days later, I'll ask them how the hockey game went. Then they get all offensive, and ask how I know that they had a game. I tell them why, and they still call me a stalker. I'm just trying to be friendly...How can I get everyone to stop calling me a stalker, besides telling on them, and telling them to stop? (I've already told them to stop, and I don't want to go to a parent or teacher)
