How do i make friends?

ok school starts in 2 weeks and i have like 2 friends! im going to the same school ive always gone to tho so its so hard to make friends! i had some last year but not anymore (read my other q's if u wana know wat happened) so how do i make friends? like what do i say to them? last year i would be like "i love ur shirt" and theyd b like "oh thx urs is cute to" but then the convo would die! How do i keep it going? how do i become good enough of friends with them to tex them and hang out!? pleaseee help!
