What do you appreciate more: skilled singers or skilled songwriters?

Without a doubt skilled songwriters. Song writer's like Robert Hunter, John Lennon, Jerry Garcia, Bob Dylan have abstract and amazing minds. I don't mind covers but people like Elvis who sang extremely well and never wrote a good song his whole life disappoint me. People that are good singers are lucky, people that are good songwriters are geniuses.
