Why are my radiators cold?

Yesterday one of the radiators in my house was hotter than the others so I bled the colder ones. As I did this water jetted out continuously with no sign of slowing down. Today the radiators are much colder with the exception of the one that was the hottest before the bleeding (also nearest the boiler). The water pressure indicator is always on high despite it been quite the opposite. Yesterday after bleeding the radiators it dropped but today has risen back to high. I have done this on and off since a child. I had a dysfunctional upbringing (domestic violence amongst my parents) from which I have blossomed from an angry person into a pillar of the community and a nice person, after various amounts of counselling of sorts. Why do adds lie to us and present statistics as facts?

I know that normal product commercials lie to sell things, but why do anti drinking and driving adds lie? I saw a poster that said it's a fact every year x amount(I can't remember the exact number but it was like 400,00 something) of people are killed in alcohol related deaths it didn't say about this many people or something. that's not a fact its a statistic and there is no way it's the same amount every year it has to change year to year, so why do they say it's a fact? why don't they just say approximately this number of people. I have seen the same thing with anti tobacco and other anti drug adds and posters and ant child abuse adds. I saw one poster that said one out of 6 babies is abused. how would they even know that? Yes drinking and driving is bad and smoking is bad and child abuse is bad, but i think that the adds and posters would be more effective if they were truthful and not just estimates or statistics paraded as facts.

Pretty poor really. Processor is not that good, the memory is low by today's standards , as is the hard drive. Integrated graphics never good either. I think even for that price you could find a better spec. Look for a hard drive of at least 160gb, 2gb of memory, look for any dual core processor. The machine you are looking at will find it hard to cope with even running windows Vista.

Why did I cry so instantly?

Last night when my friends mom dropped me off at my house after swim practice, we saw a possum in the driveway. I put my dog and two cats inside just in case it had rabies or something. Her mom was saying she would just run over it when she backed up but I said no because I didn't want my dad to have to clean up a squished possum and I didn't think we should have to kill it. It was just sitting there snarling at us, we tried throwing some rocks near it to get it to move. But I know they play dead so it didn't even budge. She called her dad and he came over with a 22 to shoot it. All I saw was the headlights of his truck illuminating the end of his gun pointed at the furry little head. I screamed and ran in the house. I immediately was crying. I know I've always had a soft spot for animals but I had no idea I was going to cry over that. Its not like I was attached to it or anything. It was an immediate reaction that seemed more reasonable for seeing a person die, not that possum. Why did that happen to me? It was completely uncontrollable and I'm really confused why I reacted so quickly that way.

I am a Canadian citizen, but have spent most of my 10-year working life based overseas (except for a 6-month internship after graduation). I have changed careers twice and currently work as a VP at an American investment bank in a China-focused capital markets role. I previously worked in market research & consulting. SPURS Shining Light, slowly dimming?

A few weeks back I mentioned that The Spurs were in serious trouble. They strated to win again, but despite those wins, and last nights disastrous loss to The Suns, I cant help but think that they are most likely going down in the first round, and should be thankful they are even getting into the playoffs. In The Mighty West, without a true center, who can rebound and score on a consistent basis, which The Spurs lack and are in dire need of, will be main reason they go down early, regrettably. When Robinson retired and they had Nazr Mohammed as Center, they shoudl have stuck with him, gave him more time to adjust. They then Split time between Oberto and Elson who both cant be on the court for too long a time without fouling, and certainly dont rebound and score enough. In comes Thomas, who is struggling. Best thing now is to have Spurs lose out, they dont want to face Suns, Mavs, Nuggets 1st round. What do u think?

I suppose they figure that if we recycle more paper, then we won't cut down as much trees. Recycling will prevent our landfills from becoming so full--which they are already horrible! Recylcing is typically thrown in with everything else when they talk about environmental concerns. What's more interesting is the fact that what could help reduce the ozone levels--riding the bus or carpooling, not using air conditioners, etc.--is not stressed as much as recycling. I'm not sure if "global waming" should be as stressed as just plain taking care of the place that we live in. There's gloabl warming in other planets that don't even have people in it, so I'm not sure if it's something that can be avoided--but we definitely should be doing a better job at being good citizens on this planet!

Am I being plagued by a demon? [no skeptics, pls!]?

Okay, this is a pretty long story. It all started years ago when I had a dream about a demon pouncing on me while I lay in bed sleeping (in the very same position I was when I awoke), and proceeded to suck out my soul through my mouth. (Geez, this all sounds so crazy, but if I wasn't so freaked out, I wouldn't write this). It all felt so real, too real, so I stopped sleeping in my bedroom and started sleeping on the pull out couch in the living room. It was okay for a while, until I had the dream again. The same demon attacked me, except this time in my "dream" the setting was my living room and when I awoke I was once again in the same position I was in when I was attacked. When all this happened I'd lived in Ga, and it always happened at 3 am. So I (seriously) wouldn't sleep at 3 am anymore, and the dreams stopped for a long time. I've long since stopped not sleeping at 3, but the dreams didn't come back- until last night. Except this time it went too far. In the dream the demon tried to disguise itself as my grandpa, the person who I am closest to and who means the world to me, but for some reason I could see through the disguise and knew it wasn't my grandpa. The demon once again attacked me, but this time I fought back and it disappeared. Except, unlike all the other times, I didn't wake up immediately after it happened. My dream continued on for some time until I awakened to the sounds of someone pressing ons on my tv (even though there was no one there). The sound stopped and when I glanced around my room I noticed my bedroom door was cracked (I always leave it shut). As I watched the door closed on its' own. That was a little over an hour ago. Also, in the past usually during plane or bus rides I have had moments where I've gone to sleep and have awaken to all the pengers either openly staring at me or shooting nervous glances in my direction. The last time this happened, I pretended to go to sleep again only to hear the penger behind me say to his neighbor, "Why the hell did she just do that?" and when I glanced around I found him and the other pengers staring at me. The only thing I remember is falling asleep... that's it. I have no idea what's going on or what's happening to me. I haven't told anyone, because I was afraid they'd think I was crazy (like alot of you probably do now...). You have to let it consume you from the inside out. Next, be prepared to get hit. i dont know how much informal training youve had, but when i started, i had none, and your going to get hit in the nose more than once before you learn to defend yourself properly. Next, get in and spar with someone knowledgable right away, someone that can help you learn the footwork and help you define your fighting style. Defining who you are as a fighter early on is probably the most important thing you can do for yourself. Learning what your best at naturally, then building upon it. Diet wise, after a workout, try to get as many calories in you as possible, as soon as possible. Why does my chi puppy heave and gag when she eats?

Weird noise from my stomach?

I don't know how to explain, but it seems like my stomach is filled with (too much) water and everytime I squeeze my stomach in and out, it makes a a noise like when you slowly shake a water bottle filled with liquid. Also it makes a farting sound which can be really loud.

When i run a bath the hot water keeps running cold then back to hot again, its really annoying me, same things happen to the sink in the bathroom but everything ok downstairs. I met this guy named Nick, at my work. He was a security guard so i made conversation with him quite often. Anyways, so we texted eachother alot, AS FRIENDS. I politely obliged and we stopped talking. 3 months later (a week ago) I got a random text from Nick saying he missed me and wanted to hang out. So we tried to pick back up where we left off, he came over to hang out, I went over to hang out. I honestly thought everything was going great. Then one day as I was returning home with my fiance from grocerry shopping, I see Nick's truck parked outside my house as i was pulling in. nick SPED off leaving skid marks on the concrete as he saw Luke (my fiance) with me. Thing is, Nick likes me, but he agreed we'd be better off as friends because I love Luke. So anyways...later that night Nick texts me once again saying we shouldnt talk anymore. My mother and father in law were just arrested in a drug raid. The search warrant that was issued had the wrong address (it was crossed out and hand written in) The house that was listed on the warrant was described perfectly as they're house. Why has my boyfriend changed so much lately?

Yah, so I've been trying to figure this out for a little while, and I have OCD so sometimes I over obsess and freak out more than necessary. I am a 16 year old girl and am a bit confused. I had boy crushes growing up and being with a cute guy is always what I have dreamed of. It has always seemed really romantic to me. I remember feeling erflies when my boy crush cheered for me at my basketball game and wanting him to ask me to dance at our middle school dances. I remember hugging one of my sisters older guy friends and thinking about it for like the next 2 days. Now I go to an all girls high school so boys are limited. The thing is I also think girls are gorgeous and sometimes I question if I have crushes on girls because I think they're so cool and nice and stuff. I think its probably just a platonic "girl crush" and wanting to be their friend. I used to worry when I was younger though that because I found them pretty that I was gay (thanks to something I saw on Oprah when I was like 11) so that started the confusion, and then I learned that that was normal, so I would start wondering "but do i like them this way? or that way?" and constantly yze and stuff. Sometimes I question, would I want to be with a girl romantically? and while the thought doesn't disgust me or anything (it used to but not really anymore), usually I think I'd rather just be friends with them because I'm more comfortable with that. The thing is I'm not really boy crazy or anything. Like I think guys are cute, and sometimes I find one guy who I think is really really cute, but more often I find girls pretty than guys cute. Sometimes if a girl is dancing y or something, I feel like I might be getting a little turned on, but I don't actually think I want to do anything with them. Like, I can tell they're hot and stuff but I don't think I actually want to make out with them or anything... haha. I've accepted that I'm probably a little bit , and I'm okay with that as long as I can still date guys and like them. What I know I want deep down is to just find a man that i love and be with him forever, but sometimes my anxiety from my ocd makes me think that I'm completely gay and will never be able to be with a man. Windstar 2002 3.8L Limited - Engine cuts off while driving.?

The car was running fine until I replaced the alternator with a re manufactured alternator because it was cheaper. Kent Easthill Tire put a tester on the battery and said the alternator was not charging properly so I took their word for it and replaced it. Now the car will start fine and idle forever but as soon as you take it on the road without warning the engine will quit whether at 10 mph or 60 mph or accelerating. While the engine is running it runs fine without missing or anything. On the road when it stalls I have to turn the key off first and then it will start right away. It has good power and then without warning the engine quits. Anyone have any thoughts to what would be causing this? The car is sitting at the dealership as everyone is scratching their heads as to why this is happening.
